Truth is, I take a lot of photos. Like alot. Since I do, I'm no stranger to making photo books. To me, it's just easier to keep everything digital, instead of printing things out, especially when I am always getting free 8x8 book offers from Shutterfly. Over the past few years, I have made a few photo books, and have always loved them, because with a Shutterfly photo book, the slimline design is beautiful and the covers are always stunning. When I display them, they actually look like they belong. One of my goals for 2017 is to finally organize all of my pictures, get them either printed out or in a photo book, and put them some where they can be enjoyed; instead of on my computer's hard drive. Unfortunately, I had been dreading the goal, due to how time consuming it can all be. I mean, I can be a little Type A personality when it comes to making things, especially when it comes to objects that are going to preserve my precious memories. It happens right? A few weeks ago, I was introduced to the new Make My Book Service from Shutterfly & I felt instantly relieved for one reason: it was hands down the easiest and most time effective way to make a photo book. With the Shutterfly Make My Book Service I was basically able to give my photos to a designer and they made the book for me! When I was introduced to the Make My Book Service, I knew I had to try it with my wedding photos. Sure I have some printed out and in frames, but since I had a total of 4 people taking pictures at my wedding, it was kinda hard to go through and pick the best ones, or to have an album with all of them. Plus actual picture albums can be very bulky. The service was free to get started, and with it, I was able to choose a layout, upload an album of wedding pictures, and then a designer arranged all of the photos in a book for me. They added little scrapbook embellishments, words, and more. Once the designer finished, Shutterfly gave me a digital proof of the book and allowed me to make changes. Which I did make some minimal ones. Type A personality, remember. Once the book was the way I liked it, all I had to pay is $9.99 extra for the service and then order. Alternatively, if I choose not to order the book, I wouldn't have been charged! When my custom photo book arrived, Lil Man was so happy. He has a love for looking at pictures, and always likes to see when Mommy and Daddy got married. To be honest, I was pretty darn happy too! The book was gorgeous. I can tell you right now, that the books are great for preserving your family memories, and they make great gifts for grand parents, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, and everyone else you can imagine. They are also pretty sweet for wedding pictures, year in review, graduations, vacations, and more. With the Make My Book Service, making photo books has never been easier. All you have to do is upload your pictures, and let the designers do their magic. Even though there is a cost, can you really put a cost on your precious time? I know that being a mom, I can't, and I would gladly pay the fee again to have someone else do the work :)
