This is a real Megalodon tooth that is millions of years old. They come from the bottom of the sea. I carve them to accommodate the lashing, then braid the cord and secure it to the tooth. I paired a Hawaiian Shell that I found on the southern end of Kauai to the piece. It has similar color. This would have come from a MASSIVE animal. The Manō, or shark, is Aumakua (Family God) to native Hawaiians and are respected to this day. This is a wonderful way to celebrate your appreciation for sharks without harming them.
