** IF LOOKING FOR FRAMING PLEASE INQUIRE ** After graduating art college in Dublin I spent four winters in Courchevel in the French Alps. My time there came to a screeching halt with the onset of the pandemic. Lockdown in Ireland has rekindled my nostalgia and appreciation for the privilege of living in the far reaches of the world. These photos were taken in a place that means a lot to me and I wanted to share them with you. I hope these images fill you with the same sentimentality, as well as respect for the land they portray. When the world finds its footing again perhaps we will have renewed ambition to keep these places wild. In March of 2020 about a week before the world went into lockdown I took this photo from Le Praz looking up at the sun setting on the top of Grand Bec, French Alps. There is nothing quite like the way the sun hits the Grand Bec, some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets I've ever seen have been there. > MORE DETAILS • You can have this Giclée print in 3 sizes, 8x10, 12x15 or 16x20. • With white 1 inch border around each print. • Frame NOT included. • Initialed by me on the border. > MUSEUM QUALITY • I print using Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308 gsm) paper. It has a matt finish and the surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface, so I recommend extra care when handling. • The super matt finish of Hahnemüle Photorag makes this paper one of our most popular papers amongst artists, illustrators & photographers alike.
