PROCESS: This series is created by re-purposing stick pieces, hand painting each one with saturated paint, and then creating a wall sculpture work of art by assembling each piece to a wood backing. The backing (unseen when hanging) allows the pieces to seem like they are suspended without attachment. It makes for a very modern and beautiful effect. For the final touch, a special technique is used for covering the entire piece in high-loss lacquer - making a outstanding and one of a kind finished work of art!
