Que diriez-vous d’un bon gros gâteau à partager en famille ou entre amis à l’heure du goûter ? N’est-il pas beau mon gâteau, sous sa fine croûte dorée ? J’ai trouvé cette recette dans un magazine Saveur. J’ai modifié les proportions à ma guise et nous nous sommes régalés. La forme du moule en couronne, style kouglof, lui donne, selon moi, un côté encore plus gourmand et irrésistible.Alors, céderez-vous à la tentation, sachant que la fleur d’oranger et le zeste d’orange s’invitent dans cette pâtisserie, lui apportant des saveurs délicates rappelant l’Orient ou la Provence. Gâteau au fromage blanc et fleur d’oranger : (Prép 25 min/ cuisson 50 à 55 min) Ingrédients/ 8 personnes 250 g de fromage blanc à 20% 210 g de beurre mou 200 g de sucre en poudre 270 g de farine 30 g de fécule de maïs 1 sachet de levure chimique 5 œufs 1 1/2 c à s d’eau de fleur d’oranger Le zeste finement râpé d’une orange bio Préchauffez votre four à 160° C, chaleur tournante. Dans une jatte, fouettez le sucre avec le beurre mou et la fleur d’oranger. Ajoutez les jaunes d’œuf. Mélangez. Incorporez ensuite le fromage blanc et le zeste d’orange. Ajoutez enfin la farine, la farine de maïs et la levure. Mélangez afin d’obtenir un mélange homogène. Montez les blancs en neige. A l’aide d’une maryse, incorporez délicatement ces derniers à la préparation. Versez la pâte dans un plat préalablement beurré. Enfournez pour 50 à 55 min . Le temps de cuisson peut varier selon les fours et le moule utilisé; ici, j’ai cuit mon gâteau dans un moule type kouglof en silicone. Pour vérifier la cuisson, enfoncer un pic au centre du gâteau, il doit ressortir sec. Laissez tiédir le gâteau 5 min avant de le démouler sur une grille. Inspiration: Magazine Saveur n°224
