Vintage circa 1940s- WW2 era khaki tan Australian army N183 aertex tropical shirt. Made in Australia, marked a size 5. No modern size on this so please check the below measurements. See photos! Authentic period item made from a mesh/ grid weave (as opposed to round perforations) aertex type gauzy cotton. Smock style fastening. Expansion gussets at the sleeves and sides. Nice long sleeve plackets on this one. The colour is uneven with mottled fade spots all over giving this a dappled effect- all over! IMO this simply makes it better. Some surface marks / rust marks here and there. The button holes have worn and have been restitched in places to strengthen them. There's a hand darned repair at the upper back, a few at the seams, dotted here and there, at the side at the hem. The name R. Hammett is written in ink at the back. Laundered. Seam to seam across the shoulders at the back is 17 3/4" Sleeves are 23 1/2"  from shoulder seam to sleeve end From nape to hem is 31 1/4"  Across the chest under the arms is 22 1/2" -  pit to pit, flat, across the front The collar is 15 1/2"

The Vickers-Peerless armored cars were built on the chassis of the 1916 4-ton TC4 4x2, an American truck built by the Peerless company. Like the TC4. The cabin, in the front behind the engine compartment, was crewed by two: a driver and an assistant driver. The rear box could transport a maximum of 15 soldiers to combat or, alternatively, three machine gunners. The trucks's main weapons were a number of M1914 Hotchkiss guns, which fired through circular ports in the rear box's armor. Most examples featured at least two machine guns on the left and right side, while some had a third Hotchkiss in the rear, pointing backwards. The vehicles were put into service with the Greek police soon after their completion, where they were used in the Greek civil unrest and coup d'etats of the 1920s and '30s. During the Greco-Italian War, the Vickers-Peerless trucks were still in service, and may have seen some scarce use against Italian forces. By the time the Greek conflict involved both Germany and Great Britain, at least one of the armored cars was still in service, and supported British troops at Thessaloniki. The variant depicted has the steel roof, alternatively it can be replaced by a mesh wire roof. This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas. This model is made in ten parts, body, axles, tires machine guns and roof. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA and no gluing is needed, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue. The pictures are from one sample model, the models are similar in grade of detail and after print cleaning.
