Hello there! It's been a busy morning here in Weaverville! I had to go down the mountain to deliver orders and to take my husbands glasses to the eye doctors...they broke and need fixin'...well actually replacing! It's so great that they are standing behind the warranty! Remember last week when I share a beautiful card with a poppy on front...it was made with the Rooted in Nature stamp set. Today I'd like to share another card I created with this same stamp set...TOTALLY different look! Isn't it terrific? My card base is Basic Black with a 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock as the first layer. I used the Pinewood Plank embossing folder to emboss a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock as my top layer. The stamped image is stamped onto a 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock then layered onto a 3 3/8" X 3 3/8" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and finally onto a 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" piece of Basic Black cardstock. I then attached it to the card base with dimensionals. The sentiment, which is also from the Rooted in Nature stamp set is stamped onto a scrap piece of Wood Texture designer paper and I cut the banner ends by hand. The ink colors that I used are Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Memento Black! The inside of the card says....to thank you for all you do! Super cool Father's Day card!
