The drill from my latest YouTube video “outfield throwing drill”. An outfield throw is a lot farther than an infield throw, therefore we need a longer arm path. This drill helps feel that path and getting to where we need to be before firing forward. You can either have someone standing behind you holding the ball or place a ball on a tee.I know I’m already going to get feedback on this one so I’ll be proactive and say: I work with 250-300 kids a month. Throwing, especially from the outfield, is something that needs a lot of work.
