Happy Fall Y'all! I'm so excited to introduce you to Anna the Acorn! Making an acorn has been on my list for some time and I love how she turned out! I used some scrap Dishie cotton yarn I had on hand and these colors were perfect to catch her Fall details! She works up quickly, measuring about 3 inches tall and a fun project if you've been wanting to try amigurumi! You can use any worsted (weight 4) yarn, cotton or acrylic. In fact, she would be rather adorable in an oversized yarn too, like a chunky velvet! New to amigurumi? Check out our Tips page here! I'll walk you through the basics and common methods used in the pattern below. Want to stay in touch? Follow along on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
