Posters for trigraph blends include: nth, sch, scr, shr, spl, spr, squ, str, tch, and thr. Product display Ideal for grades K through 3rd grade, but it was designed with an age neutral tone so any student would feel comfortable using them. On the left side of each poster are words that start with the consonant sound and the right side has words that contain the sound within the word. For grades K-2 focus on words on the left of each poster. The right side words tend to be higher level 3rd-6th grade words of greater difficulty. When printing the posters it is recommended to print them in color for best appearance and for visual differentiation. Every letter card has its own unique color. In the print setting you’ll want to choose “shrink to fit” if it is an option in the print menu. This helps ensure the files print centered on each page and nothing gets cut off. Once printed, I’d suggest laminating them and then cutting each sheet on the dotted line. When you're done you’ll have 42 colorful consonant blend word posters that measure 4.25 X 11, which can be easily seen around the classroom.
