In this activity, students will draw and describe real world examples of autotrophs and heterotrophs. I love to use this activity as a competition for my students to see who can create the longest strand of bunting. Because this project is open ended, students can come up with endless examples... but have no fear, if your students need more direction, this product includes examples of marine life. This product also includes teacher notes, suggested uses, and two different shaped banner designs. You will need scissors, hole punchers, and string/yarn. The best part about this project? The final product makes for excellent classroom or hallway decor! Thanks for checking out my products!
