Make sure that your students are able to tell the difference between some of the key terms and vocabulary involved in this important topic. This would be a perfect assessment or interactive notebook activity after teaching the First Amendment Rights. Students are asked to cut out each sentence and decide whether it fits with the category of Freedom of Speech, Freedom to Assemble, Freedom of Press, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Petition, and Freedom of Expression.
