For sale is an elegant, vintage sugar pot. The manganese glass features a beautiful fern etching and is complemented by an electro-plated nickel silver rim. The handles, curving from the rim, meet to form a lozenge that is adorned with a symmetrical symbol. The lid, now missing much of its silver plating, is topped with a delightful finial, ribbed at the edge to function as a handle. The spoon retains its silver plating and features a beautifully shaped bowl, designed to scoop up as much condiment as possible from the jar. This versatile pot is suitable not only for sugar or jam but also perfect for serving honey or storing loose tea. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
