Machine washing is possible, but I recommend hand washing. Please wash separately for the first few times. Although I always wash the strands carefully, color bleeding can still occur, especially with bold colors. This does not mean any loss of color, but simply excess pigments are washed out. However, colors may vary depending on your monitor setting.Each skein is hand dyed with care and attention to detail using acid dyes on very high quality wool. I make every effort to dye the skeins within the same color as closely as possible, but as with all crafts, no two skeins are exactly the same.
