This excel spreadsheets helps you see your monthly financial picture and does all the math for you. Simply fill out each column, starting in column B. This column is labeled "Category". Here, you will type in all sections of income, fixed and variable expenses, savings, debts, and your personal wants, for the month. After you have all your categories labeled, you will move on to column C. This column is labeled "Budget", Begin filling in each number relative to the category and watch your pie chart start to form. Once it is fully complete, you will see a total picture of your monthly spending relative to your income. As your actual numbers, column D start to come in, you will see how much you are over or under compared to what you were anticipating in your budget column.
