No previous Montessori experience, skills, or resources required! This is one of three games of numeration for pre-kindergarten I have available. The lesson uses any materials you might want to use from your environment (nothing special!) and can be played with an individual child or a small group of children. The Direct Aim of this game is to reinforce the concept of zero and its symbol. Math starts with numeration from the numbers 1-10. Through hands-on didactic materials they build on the foundation of numerals to learn about the decimal system, numbers to 100, and the four operations.
