This print is one of a collection of original illustrations on a Japanese theme, inspired by mid-century matchbox labels. It is a Giclée print made using specialist archival pigment inks on museum grade 300gsm cotton rag paper for a deluxe feel, excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability. It works particularly well in regular, widely available A-size frames without the need for a mount. Most of the designs I sell on here are things I originally made for myself or friends and family. The subjects and style reflect my interests and taste. Mid-century children's book illustrations and posters, Eastern European matchbox art, my home city of Glasgow and other places I've lived (London, Belgium, Kenya), cycling and cinema.
