The dress and top both have a V-neck, and wrapping the ties at the waist creates an elegant silhouette. You can make the dress in four different lengths, and for the top you can choose between a cropped version or a slightly longer version. The dress and top both have options for a short grown-on sleeve, half-length sleeve, or long sleeve, so you can wear Judy all year round. There are no closures to sew. The dress and top can be pulled over your head, and the skirt has an elastic waist. The elastic at the skirt's waist creates a paper bag effect, and you can choose to add a tie or not. The centre front seam has a slit which is a real eye-catcher, though with the shorter variations you can omit the slit if you prefer. You can make 26 different garments with the Judy pattern! Suggested fabrics: You can use both woven and knit fabrics. Drapey fabrics are preferred to get a nice wrap effect. Choose thin fabrics for a summer version, or fabrics with a bit more heaviness and warmth for the winter. Avoid thick and stiff fabrics, as they can create bulk when wrapped.
