June 1, 2020, Florida Panther (Puma concolor coryi) in pursuit of a White-tailed Deer. Here is an image from our encounter eighteen months ago with a Florida Panther and her three cubs on Janes Scenic Drive in Collier County, Florida, USA. We first saw a doe bolt across the road in front of us. Then the panther appeared in pursuit flowed by her three cubs. The deer got away. I previously posted images of these cats, but this is one that I had not yet processed. Puma concolor coryi is an endangered species. Only about 200 individuals remain in the wild.
