Kensley chose a Chevron Spa Party theme for her 5th Birthday and it was SO much fun! She wanted two things; facial masks and chevron party streamers. {Talk about easy to please} Each girl got a little basket of pampering goodies. Seeing these baskets lined up makes my heart so happy. Kensley has finally reached an age where she has real friends... awesome friends at that! I attempted to transform our living room into a spa. It didn't really turn out how I envisioned it in my head but Kensley liked it and since it was HER party, as long as she was happy with it, that's all that mattered! Magical gems and pink glitter bubble bath to use while soaking their feet. We turned our little computer nook into a mini salon. Once all the girls arrived, it was time to get the party started. I wish you could hear their giggles and screams through this picture. It. Was. Adorable. My cousin Talia was a huge help in making each girl feel special. First things first... glitter hair spray! After Talia washed the glitter off her hands, she put more glitter on their eyes. Checking out their baskets; this is such a great bunch of girls! { Soaking their feet } Seriously. Could. They. Possibly. Get. Any. More. Cute? Next, the girls picked out nail polish for their finger and toe nails. After the pampered princesses' nails dried, everyone enjoyed some cookies. We wrapped up the party by opening presents; Kensley's FAVORITE part. It was unbelievable how generous her friends were, they must think Kensley is pretty special! Best friend bracelets; how precious are these!?! Kensley is blessed beyond measure to have such wonderful friends. They are a perfect source of encouragement and are there to help when life seems overwhelming. _______________________________________________________________________________ After the little girls left, we had a small little gathering of family to continue celebrating her special day. Still no Birthday cake for this beauty; maybe one day. Nolan was quick to ask what she wished for... she says she isn't telling! ... more presents.... Mamaw and Papaw remembered Nolan too; his new digger has levers so that you can actual maneuver it. Very loud. But very cool. It was touching to see how appreciative Kensley is this year for her gifts. In the background, Rob had a slide show playing through the tv of some favorite memories from last year. Kensley is FIVE going on FIFTEEN!
