Dragon Fruit plants may experience sunburn that resembles a lighter green to bleached white in appearance and it is a normal occurrence for this plant. It does not harm fruit or growth production. You may provide your dragon shade, but again it should not cause harm to the dragon. -------------------------------------------- CARING FOR YOUR DRAGONFRUIT PLANT: [DISCLAIMER: When you first receive your dragon babies, please be patient in acclimating them to their new home. What this means is that you should slowly transition them from full shade to full sun over a period of at least three weeks.] SOIL: Well draining, organic cactus mix GROW ZONE: 10-11 outdoors, 4b-11 patio zone - Very easy to plant and requires very little maintenance. - Can be grown in pots (indoors and outdoors) - They thrive with full sun. If you live somewhere with intense heat, be cautious about potential sunburn. Proper shading and acclimating your DF to its environment will help prevent sunburn. - Seedlings will take years to have the ability to bear fruit. -------------------------------------------- Cuttings can produce buds and fruits within a year of planting! All cuttings come from healthy, mature plants that are organically grown. *It is important to note that size and color are dependent on many factors such as the type of soil being used and the care given to the DF. It is also important to note that pictures are for your reference to the fruit the variety is capable of producing. You will be receiving a CUTTING of the variety and not the fruit itself. Thank you!*
