.308 Bullet Pen. The .308 Winchester is a rifle round and is the commercial version of the military 7.62x51mm NATO center fire cartridge. The .308 Winchester is one of the most successful hunting cartridges in America. It is also commonly used for civilian target shooting, military sniping, and police sharpshooting. This pen is handcrafted using two real .308 Winchester brass casings (Winchester Head stamp). The new casings were drilled to fit assembly tubes then cleaned and polish on my lathe. Even though the bullet casings are polished, they may contain very small scratches or nicks, due to the varying quality by manufacturer and nature of brass casing, which to me adds to the authenticity and uniqueness of each pen.
