Regarded as one of the most popular hybrid Mulleins, Verbascum 'Jackie' (Mullein) is a short-lived, semi-evergreen perennial with graceful spikes smothered with abundant creamy-apricot flowers adorned with an orange eye. Blooming over a long flowering period extending from early to late summer (if properly deadheaded), the flower stalks rise elegantly from a handsome rosette of gray-green leaves. Easy to please, this hardy perennial is quite compact, which makes it perfect for containers.
