Cuando era pequeña, uno de mis juegos preferidos del Verano era el de las sirenas; nos juntábamos unas cuantas amigas en la piscina comunitaria y una a una describíamos nuestro atuendo de sirena: mi pelo es largo y morado, mi cola es rosa fucsia con destellos, mis conchas (muy pudorosas nosotras) son blablablá..."¡y mi moto es una combinación de todos esos colores!". Nunca entendí muy bien por qué necesitábamos motos siendo sirenas de agua con cloro, pero el caso es que con tanta niña, tanta descripción y tanto detalle, no habíamos dado ni media vuelta en nuestro vehículo marino cuando nuestras madres nos llamaban para comer y ahí se acababa el juego. Aun así, es uno de los recuerdos de infancia más divertidos que tengo (siempre recordaré a C. comentando una a una las piezas de su traje a pesar de que todas eran de color blanco brillante). Y tenía ganas de hacer unas sirenas grandotas y presumidas. No vienen en moto (lo siento), sino nadando desde las profundidades del taller supercursi, con su larguísimo pelo ondeante y sus collares de algas de tul (una especie endémica del taller); ellas son...¡Delfina y Corina!
