Hello, Readers and Graphic 45 Fans! It is time to share the November Graphic 45 monthly project sheets! Before I get to the project, I have an announcement to make...and this is a sad announcement, rather than a happy one. This will be my LAST project sheet for the G45 monthly project series. I am stepping down from my Special Project Designer position with Graphic 45. I will still do a few things for them, here and there, but as of now, I won't be doing anything on a regular basis. I will continue to use the wonderful and amazing Graphic 45 products and share things here on the blog, but it will be in an unofficial capacity. I started with Graphic 45 in April 2010, which means I have been with the company for almost 7 years. That's a long time in designer years! I have loved my time creating monthly projects for all of you, and I hope to keep making tutorials, but for now, I will not be participating in any of the official G45 programs. You will still be able to print the GREAT project sheets, designed by some of the other exceptional G45 designers, just make sure to check the G45 blog and Facebook page to get the links! Now, on to the November project! This month, I created a December Daily style mini album! I love to make mini albums and I love Christmas papers! The G45 Ivory Mixed Media Album and the St. Nicholas Collection were the perfect match-up for this project! If you have always wanted to create a "Gloria mini" but felt they were too complicated, now is your chance! This one is simple enough for beginners, but pretty enough for seasoned makers to want to create! To print the step-by-step directions for the mixed media mini album project, click HERE. The project sheet includes a full supply list, plus step-by-step photo directions! Each month, you will be able to create a mixed media project for an approximate retail cost of $30. (I think I went a tad over this month, since I wanted my last project to be extra special.) The metal staples option will be about $10-$12 more. The directions explain how to create the project, and then show you how to add the optional Metal Staples items! This month we are using the Metal Clock Keys and Metal Door Plates and Knobs. (Note that you need three keys and one door plate/knob for the album, so you can go halvsies with a friend to save some money!) You will need ten (10) sheets of 12x12 paper to complete the project and the optional card projects (see below). If you wish to decorate the entire mini album, you will need to purchase a full 12x12 pad of St. Nicholas paper. I am using the St. Nicholas Ephemera Cards for the project this month. These are great for tucking into pockets and using for photo mats. We will do some fun things with them this month, so make sure to snag a pack when you purchase your supplies! We will decorate the front and back covers, both inside covers, and 7 pages (14 sides) as part of the project sheet. We will also use the St. Nicholas 6x6 patterns and solids pad as an optional item, if you wish to also purchase it for the project. I always have a card class for you, too! This time, use your left overs to make three cards, 6" x 5" each in the classic "Gloria Style"! You get a chance to use up your left-over supplies with a second project sheet for creating three cards! If you want to "add-on" the card class, the cost is around $5. If you wish to make ONLY the cards, the retail cost is around $20, plus any Metal Staples you wish to use. (You can add the leftover clock keys to the bow on each card!) I kept it simple for you by creating one card design, and then using it three ways! We use lots of ribbon and some glitter glue this month, for that added holiday sparkle!
