This low-mileage and original example has a storied past. The original UK owner shipped the car to Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, and drove it across each country. Later, the Gilbern encountered problems and sat in a garage in Perth for 30 years. A mechanic noticed the car, bought it, and fixed it up. Fellow Australian Neil Rote was the lucky guy who acquired it—without having seen or test-driven it.
