This plan is very similar to the Pacific Ready Cut that I found in the same neighborhood. My book dates to 1925 and this house was built in 1922. Earlier books had a stronger emphasis on bungalow characteristics like this one. This house matches the original plan better ... note the profile at Antique Home Style.

2627 Dundas Street, Vancouver, BC. This fine Craftsman bungalow features an unusual trellis-like front porch roof, diamond pane stained glass windows and an upper recessed porch with an arched opening. It was built in 1922 for Angus McLeod, a fireman at Fire Hall # 2 who became Captain of Vancouver's first fireboat, the J.H. Carlyle, in 1928. Carlyle was Vancouver's first fire chief and served from 1886 to 1928. McLeod and his wife, Christina lived here until he retired from the fire department as a district fire chief in 1947. Under the Vancouver Heritage Foundation's "True Colours" Program, the house has been painted in colours that are authentic to its style and era. City of Vancouver Heritage Plaque Program
