CGI is more than a conference — it’s a catalyst for change. Since 2005, we’ve helped set the annual international development agenda and have proven that the biggest global challenges can be solved through community, collaboration, and a commitment to action.
Kate Hudson is the queen of making eyeliner somehow look like the friendliest makeup product on the planet, which is why the style she wore to the Clinton Global Initiative 2013 Annual Meeting yesterday is like a master class in day-appropriate eyeliner. Take a look. So what's making this seem all fresh and like something you could pull off even at 9 A.M.? Three things. 1) She chose a color as opposed to a black liner. It's a shortcut to looking less harsh. 2) The line was softened by adding matching eyeshadow on top. Makes it look less like a ring of color and more of a gentler wash. 3) She isn't letting it change her attitude. Eyeliner can make you feel like a vamp, which is fun and all but not necessarily the vibe you always want. So remember to think "fresh" and you'll project it. Easy enough, right?
