MIKA Hood // KNITTING INSTRUCTIONS in German/English The MIKA Hood is a knitted hood with a small shawl collar, a practical alternative to a hat and scarf and can be knitted quickly thanks to thick needles. It is worked from top to bottom and knitted completely in stockinette stitch with a rolled edge. The hood is first worked in the round, then in rows and finally closed with a stitch stitch in the middle back. For the shawl collar, pick up stitches from the edge of the hood and knit in stocking stitch in the round. Alternatively, the collar can also be knitted in a rib pattern so that it fits a little tighter. Techniques used: Left and right inclined decreases, shortened rows with wrap stitches. All techniques used are explained in the instructions. / Language: German English / Difficulty level: Basic knowledge required / Size: One size (suitable for head circumference of approx. 54 - 62 cm) / Material: 200 g 'Sweet Sheep' from Knitloop (100% virgin wool; LL 100 m/ 100 g) or 200 g 'Line 13' from ONline (100% virgin wool; 50 m / 50 g) or 200 g 'Snow' from Drops (100% virgin wool; 50 m / 50 g) or 150 g 'Kos' from Sandnes Garn, double-thread knitted (62% baby alpaca, 9% wool, 29% nylon; 150 m / 50 g). / Needles: Circular knitting needle 7.0 mm (60 cm, possibly 80 cm) / Gauge Stockinette stitch with needle size 7.0 mm: 11-12 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm (washed and measured lying flat) Instructions for private individuals only.
