A Building that grow to suit your needs. The Wikkelhouse, is designed and built by Fiction Factory, a company based in Amsterdam. Because it's of a modular structure, you can add as many sections as you want. The home is built using 24 layers of specially designed cardboard, finished with a waterproof foil and wood panelling. Each house has a lifespan of 100 years, requires no foundations and are usually assembled with in a day. The uses are as varied as your imagination is good: the company provide services to position them on flat roofs, you can uses it as a home, all year round or just for vacation, offices, restaurant, houseboat.... At the moment they are just being sold in some European countries, as they want to control their growth, in order to keep an eye on quality control.
