**This listing features modern books with no decoration/design to the endpapers (the inside of the book). The pages are clean and the books are neutral. Slight variations are inevitable but I will do my best to ensure that multi-book orders are created using books that create a cohesive look. Please carefully review this listing. Because of the delicate nature of the designs, I do not accept returns and have not since 2016. There are no shortcuts--once begun, each book requires many hours to design and fold, mount, pack and box, and ship to the customer. Made to order: These designs are representative of the design you are purchasing. The design you choose will be folded when you order using a neutral, fresh book. The books used for this listing are modern books--a "bestseller" size novel. (Most are approximately 13.5 in. W x 9.5 in. H x 6 in. D). Ask any questions or make requests regarding exact size/color prior to placing your order if a specific size/color is a requirement for you. The books I choose are neutral--covers (the edge you see) are ivory, gray, black, taupe, navy blue, deep green, etc. The endpapers (the inside of the book) are generally the same color as the pages. If you are placing a large order I am happy to accommodate. Reselling, or for your client or yourself, all orders are welcome. I will only ship to your confirmed address. Please message me prior so that I can give you an accurate estimate for production time. Storage restrictions don't allow for me to maintain a stock of completed books. Orders are begun immediately upon receipt. Because of the delicate nature of my designs, I have had a "no returns" policy in place since my Etsy shop opened back in 2016. In order to sell my designs online, I carefully package each book to ensure that it arrives ready for you to enjoy. Please carefully consider your purchase and be aware that returns are not accepted. About my books: Some of my books are stunning vintage books, some are bestsellers, some of them were the latest greatest novels (at the time), a few coffee table books, some textbooks, etc. As a book lover it's been a joy to give them a second life as they haven't been picked up in years. All of them are gorgeous! Don't take my word for it--I encourage you to scroll through the feedback that my customers have taken the time to leave after they've received their orders. (Sidebar: I pinky promise to never solicit reviews from customers--you included.) Hanging my books: In order to preserve the quality of each of my folded book designs, every book will arrive to you permanently mounted flat. The resulting books arrive ready to arrange and hang in your space. The flat mount book will hang against the wall as any other artwork would with no sagging that's common among some folded book designs. The mount I have chosen for my designs leaves just enough space between the book and the wall so that the books truly "pop" wherever you choose to install them. See photos for details. I've updated the mount to a single custom cut board paired with quality brass rivets and sawtooth hanger. Sustainability: Unless we're working together on a *very* specific gallery or single book (and you've selected a specific book for your project), I exclusively use preowned books. I take pains to source books from estate sales, auctions, library sales, used book stores, etc. In addition, when the books come in good condition, I'll reuse everything I can right down to the dust jacket! Even though you and I will be the only ones who ever see the reverse, I try and incorporate some of the gorgeous/interesting/colorful cover art from the dust jacket when I'm making the wall mount. See photos in listings for examples. My sustainability mission carries right through to packaging and shipping. Whenever I can source and reuse boxes and packing material I do so! So please bear that in mind when your order arrives in a box that previously held light bulbs/sneakers/lampshades, etc! :-) To keep costs as low as possible there are no "handling" or other fees and I will always package orders as economically as possible. Please note the shop return and refund policy (in place since 2016). I do not accept returns.
