Beginner-Friendly Spinning Wheel The Louet S17 spinning wheel is a great wheel for beginning spinning.  The S17 features the same quality production as our other wheels (it’s technically identical to the single treadle, Irish-tension S10), but available at a lower price because it is unfinished and in a self-assembly kit. The S17 can be finished with a coat of oil, lacqurered or painted for a truly unique wheel.
