The A&E series begins with the early lives of two of America’s most infamous criminals. Born in Texas, the two young lovers (Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow) set out on a crime spree in the early 1930s. Their tragic tale ends in Bienville Parish in Louisiana. Today the town of Gibsland features a museum that provides a replication of the ambush and much more information. Although the A&E series was mainly shot in East Baton Rouge Parish, the museum is a must-visit for fans of the Bonnie and Clyde story. In addition to the museum, visitors can also pass by the marker on Highway 154 that marks the location where Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were ambushed by police in 1934.
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow met in Texas in 1930 and were believed to have committed 13 murders and several robberies and burglaries by the time they died.
