THIS IS. A. VERY DIFFICULT HERB TO GERMINATE. PLEASE. FOLLOW. THE INSTRUCTIONS. TO A "T" and be patient as some of the seeds can take up to a month to germinate. Remember this plant is from India - it needs warmth - letting the seeds sit in wet soil in cool temps will kill the seeds. Water from the bottom - dome over the planted area and keep warm - over 70 degrees. Hindus consider this a holy herb. In India, holy basil is known as Tulsi, which translates as “the incomparable one.” It is also known to protect the home or shrine it is grown near.
