I've created five more Power Points like the "Mouse, Mousie" Power Point from my previous post. I've bundled them together and you can get them here: Do-Mi-So-La Lesson Bundle Example from "Mr. Frog" Example of a rhythm dictation sheet from "King's Land" King's Land Printables - Lyrics cards Composition activity for Mr. Frog I'll be using these with my 2nd graders (I've used a few of them before to much success). As I progress in working with this unit, I'll add some more extras (definitely some Mad Minutes and Folder Games - hopefully a bingo too). Note: These are not complete lessons in my classroom - I also do warm-up activities, use anchor charts and visuals, and have other listening and movement activities. Here's what is included (and I suggest you progress along the lessons in this order, but it is up to you) F Major Songs: Mouse Mousie Lesson 1: Teach song through rhythms (slide six) and complete the rhythm activity (slide35) Lesson 2: Review song and teach all the slides (teach the melody), play the instrumentation suggested, and play the game. Lesson 3: Review the song using the printables (good assessment for you and opportunities for solo singing) and play the game again. Donkey, Donkey Lesson 1: Teach the song through rhythms (slide 12). Lesson 2: Review song and teach all the slides (teach the melody), play instrumentation/do movement suggested. Lesson 3: Review the song using the printables. D Major Songs: King's Land Lesson 1: Teach song through rhythms (slide 7) and complete the rhythm activity. Lesson 2: Review song and teach all the slides (teach the melody) and play the game. Lesson 3: Review the song using the printables and play the game again. Mr. Frog Lesson 1: Teach the song through the rhythm (slide 7). Lesson 2: Review song and teach all the slides, play game/instrumentation.
