Bulky Weight Yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool) hand dyed in a rainbow of colors - 100 g There sometimes doesn't seem to be enough color in the world. My husband often gives me this advice when I ask which shirt or pillow I should buy; He says choose the one with lots of color. And this yarn has so many colors that it make me smile. This is unicorn mane! Fiber Content: 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool Weight: Bulky Weight (5) Knitting Gauge: 3 - 3.75 sts = 1" on #10- 11 needles (6.0mm- 8.0mm) Crochet Gauge: 8 - 11 sc = 4'' on K - M hooks (6.5mm - 9mm) Yards: Approximately 137 Care: Machine Wash Gentle Cold / Tumble Dry Low or for best results lay flat to dry Dye Type: Jacquard Acid Dyes Each skein of yarn is a work of art created by me through a variety of techniques including kettle dyeing, dip dyeing, and hand painting. I hand wash the yarn at least 3 times after the dyeing process is complete to ensure that it does not bleed. However, there is always the possibility that some bleeding may occur when first washed and you may wish to use a Shout color catcher as a preventative measure. Directions for balling your yarn to use: 1. Untwist the hank. 2. Lay the hank so it circles the back of a chair or lay it flat on a table and position four vegetable/soup cans in the center of the loop pushing the yarn outward. 3. Cut or untie any string that was used to hold the yarn together and then carefully untie the beginning and end of the yarn from each other. 4. Take whichever end seems to be on top and begin to wind the yarn into a ball. I do my best to photograph the true colors of the yarn. I have included a close up, a light background, and a dark background to show the yarn. However, screen monitors may vary and therefore the color of your yarn may be slightly different than what you viewed. Please also know that I do have a poodle and cats in case you have allergies. IF YOU NEED THE YARN ASAP! Please reach out to me and I will be more than happy to help with the request. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me. I am also happy to custom dye a yarn for you using a picture or a particular color request. Thanks and be cozy, Diana
