This one is from my childhood and I definitely enjoyed it enough to hold onto it into my thirties. ☺️ Middle grade Jessie was growing up in 1840s Indiana or so she thought. When illness strikes her town, Jessie’s mom sends her out into the modern world for help. Will Jessie be able to get help in time????? Have you read this book or one similar? I’m definitely going to have to read this one to my kids.
