The first option is blackout lining. This completely blocks the sun and provides insulation from outside weather. Blackout lining is recommended for bedrooms. The second option is cotton lining. This provides added protection and a finished look to your curtains, but does not completely block out the sun. Cotton lining is recommended as a general finish to any curtain.
