A beautiful piece of olive wood with a live edge was the inspiration for this piece. The natural grain of the wood looks like the trunk of a tree and I couldn’t resist engraving a little wren peeking out of Tom the tree. This piece, like all my work is hand engraved using no lasers or stencils. The piece measures 21cm x 17cm at its widest and is 2 cm thick.
