An interesting and many-faceted medieval town with striking views and a reduced size version of Notre Dame in Paris (you can see the twin towers and the steeple in this photo). The bridge is one of two used by the common workers who lived across the river and outside the fortress walls and worked in the tanneries and mills powered by the river. Michelin only gives the town one star ("interesting"), but I think it deserves 2 ("recommended").
