Lens Cap Keeper Tutorial- (For DSLR cameras or cameras with detachable lenses) Things you'll need: -Embroidery Floss -1 thick hair tie (I used scunci silicone-like ties for stability) -3m (or any heavy duty tape) double sided tape adhesive -1 penny or coin (I used a flatten penny from a favorite vacation spot) -1 clip or safety pin (tutorial shows safety pin, so whichever you prefer) -A book or stable surface Now if you don't know how to make a 'friendship bracelet' click here for an easy step-by-step tutorial However do not complete the bracelet!! Stop at step 5! After you've made your 'bracelet' take your hair tie, or rubberband, And tie that bracelet to it and the end without the loop. (should be the bottom of the bracelet) Cut as close the the knot without cutting off. :) Ta-DA! Now take your coin (Any kind of coin you'd like!) Also grab your double sided tape Measure your coin up to the coin and cut it at appropriate length. (Try to avoid touching the sticky side as much as possible, I had to do this step twice because the tape was not as sticky after touching it so much) Now take the side without the peel off label (backside) and firmly place the loop part of the bracelet onto the tape, ensuring it's on there good! (this will keep your lens safe) After the loop is in place, take your coin and place it on top of the loop and onto the tape. Cut out the extra tape around coin and bracelet. Ta-DA! Now take the peel off label of the double sided tape (careful not to touch the tape as much as possible) Place your coin into the lens however you wish! And place the hair tie around the lens closest to the camera than the lens. It will sit nice where the lens detaches from. (will not hurt camera one bit!) And there's your lens cap keeper! Very inexpensive most items found around the house! Good luck! Thanks guys! Smile your on camera! Joking :)
