You can't go to Natchez without eating lunch at Mammy's Cupboard. It's only a few miles from Natchez, and it's well worth the drive. Mammy was originally built as a gas station by Henry Gaudé in 1940. She is 28 feet tall, and she has a 20-foot diameter skirt. The bricks and wood to construct her came from an old cotton gin, and the beams from the gin support her skirt. I had chicken pot pie, broccoli cornbread, layered salad, and Italian cream cake. YUM ! Tell them I sent you! 555 Highway 61 N Natchez, MS 39120 (601) 445-8957
