Hi! Yup, it's another upcycled project from the stuff most people will throw into the trash can. Recently I saw a lovely project done by my blog friend - Creative Mind. Inspired by Khadija's project, I created this rotatable layered storage box. Interested? Well, then scroll down for the step by step instruction... Step 1 - Cut the tube into layers. I have mine in 3cm, 3.5cm, 4cm, 5cm and the bottom is about 6cm Step 2 - Make a base for each rings (except the bottom one) out of cardboard. Step 3 - Glue the base on all the ring. and wrap them with any paper as you wish. I used some pages from the old yellow page. Step 4 - Cut straws according to the height of each layer. Step 5 - Wrap the straw with the same wrapper and glue it onto the layer. Step 6 - Use a chopstick...balloon stick..I used a part of a broken hanger here and slide it into all the little straw tube you have glue onto the side of the tube. There you have it! A rotatable layered storage box... Step 7 - Decorate as you prefer. I cut of some brown paper for labeling purpose... but yet to decide should I use it as a jewellery box or for my sewing stuffs... What do you think? How would you make use of this layered box? Happy Trying! Love PC Sharing this with >
