Dear Ones, Dropping in with some spiritual practices that have been helping me these last weeks, as well as some big book news! The March Soul Care newsletter is below in case you missed it. Peace and tenderness, Mary xo ******************** Dear Friends, Today in the Northern Hemisphere, we welcome the spring equinox. On this first day of spring, the hours of daylight equal the hours of darkness, and for the rest of the season, we are gifted with a little more light each day. With every new leaf and bloom, we witness nature’s glorious co-creation with the divine. And we are reminded that this co-creation with the divine is happening within us too. Yes, divine teamwork is here for us in every moment. AND OH HOW I NEED IT March snuck up on me while I was burning the midnight oil on the last round of edits for the new edition of the Every Day Spirit daybook. Oh, friends, it's beautiful! I am so excited to share the updated hardcover edition with you on September 3. Yes, we got a launch date! There's a LOT of book news below! But first, let's take a moment to center ourselves and connect with our heart and soul. With all of the changes swirling around here, I've had lots of opportunities to use my spiritual practices to shift from big worries to a place of calm. THINGS THAT ARE HELPING This month, I've returned over and over to these six practices and they have sustained me in one of the fullest times of my life. MEDITATION: As much as I wanted to shorten my meditations to get right to work, I knew that I needed calm and divine flow to permeate my work. Meditation brings us a sense of inner peace, but also a clearer connection to divine guidance. (There's a meditation workshop here.) ASKING FOR HELP: Whenever I got stuck, I asked - out loud: What word or phrase do I need here? Half the time, the answer dropped right in. The rest of the time, it came to me within the day. There was not a single request that went unanswered. BLESSINGS: In joys and challenges, I sent out lots of blessings. On one of my busiest days, I got pretty badly hacked on Instagram. I blessed the hackers. I blessed the IG fraud team. I blessed my following to keep them safe. I blessed the resolution that I knew would come quickly. It did. AFFIRMATIONS: Especially when I felt worried, I upped my game of affirmations. Things are working out well for me. The new version of the book is beautiful inside and out. I have all the time I need for all I need to do. I am guided to perfect solutions. NATURE BREAKS: Short walks gave me energy. Swims washed away resistance. One small step at a time, I was able to plant a little vegetable garden in pots on my patio during the editing process. Breaks to chat with the plants made me smile (and made the plants grow)! PATIENCE (Divine Timing): Each day I let go. I did my best, then enlisted a little faith that the benevolence of the divine always supports our purpose for the highest good of all. Even when we can't see the outcome. WHAT IS HELPING YOU? Experiment with spiritual practices that you need in this season of your life. What brings you balance? What leads to calm? How do you awaken divine connection? Every step toward peace within us is a gift of peace to the world. So take care of your heart. Lean into your spiritual practices. We need your beautiful light today. With gentle love, Mary xo
