Three-Digit Addition Task Cards for Math Centers includes practice activities to help your students solidify their understanding of how to add three-digit numbers using a variety of models and strategies. Included are four levels of three-digit addition equations that move from simple to complex: ➟ Add 100s ➟ Add 100s & 10s ➟ Add All Place Values without Regrouping ➟ Add with Regrouping (three subsections): regroup 1s only, regroup 10s only, regroup all places Also included are pre-/post-assessments and quick-assessments to monitor progress along the way. You can easily differentiate instruction. There are five main strategies that are practiced through the activities in this packet: ➟ Use a Number Line ➟ Use Base-10 Blocks ➟ Break Apart (Ungroup) one or both addends ➟ Add with Vs (hundreds to hundreds, tens to tens, ones to ones) ➟ Vertical Adding by Place Value Activities and strategies are repeated at each level so that students know the process and can apply it with different levels of three-digit addition equations.
