As you might expect, there is a lot for Paul, so this is a long lesson. It can probably be divided into 2 or 3 lessons. This is about as condensed as I could write it. There are a lot of new posters for this lesson, too! The following Anchor Charts, worksheets and more are in the lesson and application pack. These are the all new information Anchor Charts for Paul. They are included in the lesson and activity pack below. The review application project is this File Flip Book. The answers are on the last page. Depending on your students and time, these can be cut, stacked in order and stapled at the top above the dotted line before class or it can be a project for the students. This has cut and glue which was requested by several teachers (not because they love it but because the students love it ☺). Each page has fill-in-the-blanks and a couple pages have another activity to engage them. If the students are making a notebook, these can be glued to pages instead of a book. Let them glue the top only and make a lift-the-flap type page and let them write additional information about each event with the scriptures. These are Sequencing Timelines for Paul's Life. There is a completed one (right) for a teacher's visual, if you are keeping a notebook and just want it as a chart, or you do not like the cut and glue. If the students only put glue above the dotted line, they will have a lift-the-flap with the information under each photo. Another idea by Jeanne Dickson is to use Pringles cans to make and display the idols that Paul saw in the cities that he visited. Also, Taped to the underside of the plastic lid were little pictures of things that could be considered as idols for us today - T.V., tablet, sports, celebrities, etc. (Used with permission) Scripture Reference Acts 7:58 Saul witness to Stephen’s stoning Acts 8:3 made havoc of the church Acts 9:1 he asked for the papers to put Christians in prison Acts 26:9-12 he told Agrippa about his anger at the Christians Acts 9:8 Saul blinded by the light Acts 9:13 Ananias…” But… I have heard about Saul of Tarsus!” Acts 9:18 Saul could see and was baptized Acts 22:16 baptized for the remission of sins in the name of Jesus Acts 20: Saul preached Jesus The Christ is the Son of God Acts 9:25 Saul escaped Damascus ‘through’ the wall at night 2 Corinthians 11:33 he escaped through a window down a wall Acts 14:15 we are just men!
