Hello Dear Stamper Friends: Today I am bringing to you another fun shape card...this one is a Diorama, [small 3 dimensional scene in which models of figures are display against a background], not a square or a rectangular as they usually are, but in a Triangular shape! If you like it "Pin It": I featured this card at the French blog "Un Brin De Créativité" for Memory Box It shows several new dies from the Memory Box, Spring 2013 release. The bridge as soon as I saw it I knew that I had to make it in suspension some how and this is how the shape of the card came to life. and it reminds me so much of the "Golden Gate" in "San Francisco". Here is a shot of all the supplies of the dies that I used and the inks for making the background I just was reminded again about this technique at a "Rubber Stamp Convention" that I was at last week-end and I decided to do it and use it to make the background for the "Diorama" TECHNIQUE: On a glossy paper stamp with "Versamark: {frost for the trees and regular for the mountains}" the image, then you use the "kaleidacolor" inks with a brayer and that's it...so easy and effective...I loved it...and the lady doing the demo had fantastic cards at her booth...here it is the link of their store: "Stamp A Mania" and they specialize in south western rubber art stamps, just in case you want to have a look... CONSTRUCTION: As for the Shape of the card: you take an A2 card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), add a third panel just a bit larger (5" x 5 1/2") score 3/8" on each side to be glued on both sides and make a "triangular diorama" I added some "Stickles" which are hard to see on the photo...but the whale, the frame, the flowers and the bridge were embellished with some of them. Here is a view from the top and here it is a view from the side... I thank you for your visit and want to remind you that if you would like to be informed of when I will have a post, just subscribe on the left to this blog by submitting your e-mail.. bye for now... BTW did you saw in my last post, scroll down, the "Quick 101" on how to use the icons from the supply list? Check it out in case you didn't know ... SUPPLIES: InLinkz.com
