I have to be honest, I usually delete the random 'oooh look at this darling!' emails I get sporadically from my Mother. But these vintage advertisements did make me chuckle (and made me hella grateful that I was born in the 80's and not the 40's! Talk about produced to give you a complex.You wouldn't have wanted to be a slightly overweight, smoking housewife back then would you?
