Image gallery for: Recipe below 👩🏼‍🍳 i made my first cinnamon twist loaf today i experimented with my one hour cinnamon roll recipe a few reels back and it worked great on this sheet loaf here’s the recipe ingredients 1 1 2 cups warm water 1 tablespoon dry active yeast my favorite is saf yeast 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 3 1 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt filling 4 tablespoons butter half a stick 1 2 cup packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon prepare dough in a mixer combine warm water with yeast and sugar mix and allow to proof activate and bloom for about 5 minutes or until foamy add 1 teaspoon salt and 3 1 2 cups flour let mix on medium speed until well combined sprinkle flour and knead dough on counter until smooth allow to rise on the counter covered with a clean towel for about 10 minutes roll dough into a rectangle about 10x12 spread thin mixture of combined butter brown sugar and cinnamon on dough roll dough lengthwise like you’re making cinnamon rolls with a sharp knife make a slice down the center of the roll leaving about an inch attached at one end cut side up twist dough ropes and tuck ends under allow to rise for 20 minutes add loaf to a sheet with parchment for easy clean up bake at 350° for 27 30 minutes or until lightly golden allow to cool slightly before adding buttery glaze buttery twist glaze 1 cups powdered sugar 3 tablespoons softened butter 3 4 tablespoons heavy cream spread glaze while warm enjoy
