My heart races, palms sweat, and knees go weak. I’ve never seen anyone like Drew in a science lab. He’s made me a firm believer in chemistry existing outside a textbook. Then his ego shows up. Nope. No, thank you. Moving on. I mean… who has an entourage in college? When our professor announces we’ll be stuck as lab partners, I nearly lose my mind – and not in a good way. I can’t afford the type of distractions Drew brings. My Review: Drew has wanted to be a doctor since his sister got sick. That want turned into a need after she passed away. To get through college he uses his basketball scholarship to take some of the financial burdens off of his parents. When he wants into his science class he knows picking the right partner will be crucial to helping him keep his grades up. When he sees Abby he knows she'll be the perfect partner. He sees her as a plain girl who is just as focused on school as he is. No distractions. Except he doesn't count on liking Abby and her not taking his crap. Abby is focused on school. After one bad relationship where a guy used her to get him through a class, she's wary of Drew and his motivations for being her partner. But at every turn, Abby finds that she and Drew are compatible in every way. Drew was a great read and character. Drew is hard working and has been through a lot to get him to where he is. He doesn't date during the season, but the more time he spent with Abby, he knew he couldn't only be friends with her. The two of them got along so well and had great chemistry. I enjoyed the slow build. Drew was an adorable sexy story. The pacing, storyline, steaminess, and characters were amazing. Grab Your Copy Here!
